It is the picture of a government which weighs their interests short-term on the will of the people<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By Fulvio Pompeo*<\/span><\/i><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><br \/><\/span><\/p><p><b>A strategy of international insertion is more than a set of photos. It is a film that requires planning, defining the place where we want to be, the search for consensus and a roadmap that takes us there.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Having a strategy makes us a actor predictable and reliable to the international community. But obviously for that to happen successfully, that strategy has to be connected with our identity, with who we are as a country, what values we stand for, what are our national interests and our allies, and by what causes we are fighting for.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><br \/><\/span><\/p><p><b>Democracy, Human Rights and the full validity of individual freedoms seem to be values that have become a central part of our national identity<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the way of life that the argentines chose to carry forward and also what we project on a global level. These pillars are the basis of sustainable development in time, we show consistent and predictable, impacting on the growth conditions of our country. A development of the trust that is essential to the long-awaited development agenda that Argentina needs, we move away from the poverty and moves us closer to work, investment and sustained growth.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><br \/><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The recent designation of our country as <\/span><b>president Pro Tempore of CELAC<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in appearance, are opposed to this the will of the people and generates confusion around the place that Argentina is in a regional and global level. <\/span><b>The concessions that the National Government has made or may make in the pursuit of votes and\/or to avoid bans against regimes that systematically violate human rights in our region seems to respond more to a need for domestic policy to international action that would generate benefits for our citizens<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The results of the summit were to condemn the human rights violations in countries that are going through a complex situation as it happens mainly in Nicaragua and Cuba, as well as in Venezuela that the fact of having a government that was not recognized by most of the countries that stand for these values.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><br \/><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A photo is not worth more than the strategy of a country, and still less that their dignity, by putting in the game the defense of the values that make our identity. <\/span><b>It is the picture of a government which weighs their interests short-term on the will of the people.
